Here are the top three stories right now in Franklin:
- According to the latest data from the Department of Labor and Workforce Development, Williamson County still has the lowest unemployment rate in Tennessee. The current county rate is 2.4 percent. Despite the low rate, the county did not see an increase of 0.3 percent during October A majority of Tennessee’s region had a rate below five percent. (Chattanooga)
- The City of Franklin will hold a Virtual Environmental Meeting regarding the proposed Development Plan and Rezoning for 101 Cool Springs Boulevard. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 7 at 6:00 pm The purpose of the meeting is to provide residents with details of the project and to allow engagement and applying for the project. - Williamson County reports that all county government offices will lose internet access on Thursday, December 1. The outage will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am The outage will allow the district to increase its internet speed moving forward. Please plan accordingly. (Williamson County)
